Sean G. Smith, MSc, CCRN, CEN, CPEN, RNC-NIC, is the CEO of Critical-Care Professionals International, a charity to promote Global Health Equity in Critical-Care and Emergency Medicine. He is a humanitarian/flight nurse-paramedic who is triple board certified in neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations. He has 30+ years of education and experience that also include Molecular Biology, Nuclear Engineering Technology, US Navy Aviation/ NASA Manned Space Flight Support, Forensic Science, High Performance Teams / High Yield Pedagogy and Resource Limited Environs. He has led and / or participated in over 50 capacity building medical missions in 8 different countries over the past 12 years, training hundreds of clinician-educators, treating hundreds of patients, and serving during Haiti's 2010-2019 Cholera epidemic as well as working with the WHO in The Hot Zone during the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreak. Hobbies include homesteading, languages, SCUBA diving, Tropical/ Travel Medicine, and working on vintage vehicles and guitar amplifiers.
