Hope you're all doing well and staying warm with this weather!
I wanted to reach out to the group to see if there might be interest in collaborating on submitting (and potentially presenting) an ethics-focused session for the 2027 SCCM Congress.
I'm a Critical Care Medicine attending physician and am currently pursuing my Master's in Bioethics, which I'm really enjoying. Ethics comes up constantly in our ICU work, and I'd love the opportunity to develop a session that's practical, case-based, and grounded in the real challenges we face at the bedside.
I realize the submission deadline (February 25) is coming up and that time may be a factor. That said, the initial submission requires a solid plan and clear learning objectives - not a fully developed presentation - so I'm hoping this could still be very manageable for anyone interested.
If anyone else in the group has a similar interest and would like to brainstorm ideas or co-submit a proposal together, I'd really welcome the chance to collaborate. This could be as simple as sharing perspectives, shaping cases, or presenting together - open to input
