I am sending this to get input from some experienced POCUS instructors and to see if any want to participate in this project:
I am working in conjunction with Global Offsite Care. They are an organization in Northern California with long history of supporting virtual and live teaching and conference programs in various locations around the world. You can find out more information at their website:

As part of their outreach, they have donated a number of handheld ultrasound probes to various locations worldwide. This has been done in conjunction with the Butterfly Ultrasound Company. Some of these sites are not in major urban areas and are clinic/medical center based. They have about 5-8 practitioners. They would benefit from some teaching on POCUS to get better use out of their devices and to aid in diagnosis in these remote settings (which often function as EDs/clinics/hospitals). Given the small size and locations, we are trying to leverage Global Offsite Care's virtual outreach for teaching . We plan to combine this with the Butterfly Network's on line teaching tools which allow a remote proctor-instructor to view image aquisition and a live video of the learners. . The planned curriculum is for basic ultrasound skills on the level of hospitalists/ED doctors in resource limited settings. They will have study assignments and self scanning practice before and after each session.
Would love to get input on how you all think this would work or if you want ot get involved. This is somewhat of a "test" project for feasibility but, if successful, could expand to a much bigger offering. Currently searching for instructors for a 1-1.5 hours virutal teaching session.
