Dear Florida Chapter SCCM member,
We are currently soliciting nominations for the following offices:
President-Elect (3-year term): Year 1 = President-elect, Year 2= President, Year 3 = Immediate Past-President. They preside at meetings of the Board of Directors and the Chapter Executive Committee in the absence of the Chapter President. Additionally, they chair the Nominating Committee.
Secretary (2-year term): Act as the secretary of all meetings of the Board of Directors; shall have custody of and maintain the records of the Corporation; certify action of the Board of Directors; give notice of meetings to the Board of Directors and chapter members. Work with SCCM on maintaining an up-to-date membership list and on providing mailings to chapter members.
Board of Directors Member (3-year terms, 3 positions available): Oversee the functioning of the Chapter. Ensure the orderly transfer of oncoming and off going officers. Formulate long-range plans and goals for the Chapter. Report activities at least annually to SCCM
Nominating individuals for these offices is an important ongoing contribution that you can make to ensure a strong succession of leaders. Therefore, I ask you to consider the individuals you have interacted with over the past few years in relation to the qualifications for these roles and submit nominations for those whom you feel could successfully fulfill these roles. Please keep in mind that you can nominate yourself.

The deadline for submitting nominations is March 25th, 2024 and nominations cannot be accepted after this date.
