    Good morning! 

    The abstract submission deadline for the Annual Research Symposium is approaching on April 1 at 11:59 PM EST. A few reminders: 

    • Any new or previously submitted material is acceptable.  

      • Abstracts may describe original research or case reports/series. 

      • Abstracts may be presented by any discipline of critical care.  

      • Limit: 400 words.  

      • Abstract formatting guidelines can be found on the submission form. 

    • One author from the accepted abstract will present the research.  

      • The presenting author will be allotted 3-5 minutes using up to 10 slides to present the research. 

    • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by members of the SCCM Michigan Education Committee using a standardized rubric.  

    • Authors will be informed of acceptance to present by May 1st, 2024. 

    • Awards available to top presentations within each category!
