    Dear SCCM Colleague,

As you are aware, the Telecritical Care landscape continues to evolve at a rapid rate.  In order to keep up with its growth, the Telecritical Care Committee is exploring the option of becoming a SCCM Specialty Section, which will allow broader collaboration and participation with Telecritical Care Medicine experts among the SCCM Community.

Forming a Telecritical Care Medicine (TeleCCM) Section will:

    • Enhance access to and collaboration with similarly minded peers
    • Enable participation in research to continue advancing tele-critical care as a specialty
    • Position the teleCCM section as the ambassador voice for other members, healthcare professionals and patients
    • Facilitate development of teleCCM standards in care delivery, billing and interactions

The Telecritical Care Committee will be hosting an 1-hour informational meeting at the 2023 Critical Care Congress. This meeting will take place on Monday, January 23 @ 9:30 – 10:30 PST in the Convention Center – Room 9.

We hope you will be able to stop by to learn more about the goals and vision for the TeleCCM Section.

If you are unable to attend the information meeting, and are interested in supporting the formation of the Telecritical Care Medicine (TeleCCM) Section, please add your name to the list: https://forms.office.com/r/exSy3fin0G

Please use the link above if you planning to attend as well. We are trying gauging the level of support for this initiative.
