    Hello awesome KEG members,

Asha, Markita, and I are excited to announce our first KEG meeting in the near future (likely Jan 2022). This will be a comprehensive overview on the evidence-based data and/or practices that have been published over the last 5-10 years for tackling ICU burnout in nurses, NPs, PAs, RTs, pharmacists, attending physicians, and trainee physicians -- all incredibly interconnected but unique groups within the critical care milieu. We look forward to virtually seeing you all there, having thought-provoking discussions, and hopefully collaborating with you on commonsense solutions to address such high degrees of burnout in our field.

***In the mean time, I would love to pose a challenge for you all -- find the individuals on your team who work hard to make your organization better, make an appointment with them, and let them know they are your future and how grateful you are for all they do. Gratitude is *powerful* -- we often under-express it in medicine but I promise you it can make all the difference.***

    Best,
    Jack
