    Hi everyone,

Does your institution have restrictions on pregnant providers/caregivers entering the room of patients receiving inhaled epoprostenol (via mechanical ventilator circuit or high flow nasal cannula)?  A simple yes or no and what institution you are at would be great! We are in the process of changing our policy and wanted to see the practice at other institutions.

    Thanks,

    Natasha Lopez, PharmD, BCCCP

We do. (Army hospital) but it doesn’t come up because we can’t buy epoprostenol (contracting issues)

From one of my partners at Univ Minn

"Great point-I was told not to go in the room of patients on inhaled epoprostenol when I was pregnant, but there was no signage on the door someone just told me not to go in the room. So I don't think we have a policy..."
