    Posted 12-30-2021 21:52

    Good evening,

The Women in Critical Care Medicine KEG is supporting a session proposal for the 52nd Annual Congress in 2023. The session will focus on Women's contributions to critical care medicine from the year 2022.

Our goal is for a multidisciplinary group of speakers to highlight Women's contributions over a broad range of critical care medicine-related topics.

We are seeking volunteers to speak for the following disciplines:

    • Nurse or Nurse practitioner
    • Pharmacist
    • Physician
    • Physician assistant

If you are interested in participating or would like to nominate a colleague, please contact Lauren Igneri <igneri-lauren@cooperhealth.edu> with the following information by January 19, 2022:

    • 2-3 paragraph personal biography describing professional experiences and/or credentials which make you an excellent candidate to review and discuss future literature on behalf of your profession within critical care medicine.
      • Examples include serving as a journal peer reviewer or editorial board member, creation of continuing education programs, speaking experience at local/national meetings, academic and/or research appointments, preceptorship of learners, etc.
    • Curriculum Vitae

Ultimately SCCM makes the final decision on whether the proposal is accepted and the selection of speakers.

A similar session was well-received at the 2021 Congress. Be sure to check out the 2022 session Women in Critical Care Contributions: a highlight of women's contribution to critical care in 2021 on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1-2 pm AST.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Lauren Igneri <igneri-lauren@cooperhealth.edu>.

    Kind regards,
