    The steering committee has an opening for one Programming Chair, and one Treasurer/Fundraising Chair, job descriptions below.  If you are interested in being a part of the steering committee please submit your nominations or consider self nominating.

    Programming Chair:

    The Programming Chair shall generate topic ideas relevant to the advancement of women in critical care and identify multidisciplinary speakers on these topics for the SCCM Annual Congress.  Additional responsibilities include organization of the annual KEG business meeting and a member reception/ networking event at Congress, generating proposals for Critical Cross Talk sessions and/or roundtable discussions at Congress, and developing a yearly continuing education Webinar.

    Treasurer/Fundraising Chair

    The treasurer shall oversee and coordinate internal and external fundraising for activities that support the Women in CCM KEG mission. All actions shall be in accordance with the rules and regulations as determined by the SCCM.

    If you are considering running for any of these positions or know someone who is, the nominee should provide a paragraph stating the nominee's:

    1) current employment
    2) SCCM involvement
    3) reason for nominee's interest in the position

    Dear Dr.Chow, 
                           My name is Hina Faisal. I am a board-certified anesthesiologist and critical care physician. I am an assistant professor of clinical surgery and anesthesia at Houston Methodist  Hospital. I am a member of SCCM and involved in scientific contributions. 
     
    I want to nominate myself for the treasurer position due to the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position. I am capable of handling figures and have an orderly mind and methodical way of thinking; have experience in dealing with large sums of money and budgets; have experience of financial control and budgeting; have an eye for detail; good communication and interpersonal skills; good time-keeping and management skills.
