I am the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program Director and Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and a board certified academic pediatric intensivist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in Atlanta, GA.
My career passions involve education of trainees at all levels, providing excellent care of critically ill children and the enhancement of patient safety in the ICU. As a former US Peace Corps Volunteer, I have a long term interest in global health, specifically in the area of pediatric critical care capacity development. I am a member of the AAP Section on Critical Care, the AAP Committee on Hospital Care and am a Board Member of the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies (WFPICCS).
