    Posted 10-08-2024 10:08

    Hello everyone!

I hope this email meets you doing well. Our very own Kwame Akuamoah-Boateng  has been selected as a potential SCCM council member. Can we show big support for our dear friend and colleague and vote for him to join council.

Kwame is a distinguished individual who has served SCCM and the critical care community in many ways including being a strong advocate for Global Outreach. He is disciplined, principled, and enthusiastic about everything he sets his mind to. And is the type of leader who brings others along side him to achieve a common goal, and always for the best.

Kwame is currently the co-chair for SCCM 2025 Congress. He is primed for the position on council. Please go to MySCCM, and you will see a tap "SCCM Election." Thank you for supporting our friend, Kwame Boateng.

Kwame's dedication to SCCM and the critical care community is unparalleled. He has shown exceptional leadership and is a strong advocate for global outreach, particularly in bringing forward perspectives from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). His deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by LMICs and his commitment to inclusive and equitable critical care make him an outstanding leader and a voice for all.
By voting for Kwame, you are supporting a leader who genuinely understands the needs and challenges faced by low- and middle-income countries and is dedicated to inclusive, global healthcare improvements. His passion and commitment will undoubtedly enhance the council's impact on a global scale. Let's make a difference together by helping Kwame bring his invaluable perspective to SCCM leadership.
