October Symposium Planning (Thursday, October 25, 2024, 8:30am - 6:00pm)
● Abstract grading and planning – submission now closed
● Updates on confirmed and invited speakers: CE Credit paperwork needs speakers to sign off on COI form, need few more bio's
● Posted agenda: timing updated; review timeline
● Conference logistics: pick up/ drop off president, list of "to do's" and volunteers, BOD & Planning Cmt dinner, other
● Select deadline for in-person registration (d/t food/logistics, keep hybrid option open)
● Other updates: max attendees: 250ppl, catering: breakfast, lunch, and happy hour menu: TBD

Present data on number of abstracts submitted thus far, (n=9)
Need to increase communication with and participation from presenters.
● Make a "what to expect as a speaker" email. Goal is to have a symposium as interactive as possible
● All speakers and agenda are confirmed and approved
● Need to add timelines to get CME approved: currently waiting on few speaker bios and COI sign-ff. Objectives, "gaps in practice" is completed. Will send out slide template
● Need to advertise after above completed (Save the Date posted on website)
● Registration price to remain same as last year (Live: M/NM: $60/$160; Remote: $40/$100); free for sponsored trainees, $45 NM/NST)

For abstracts:
● Need peer reviewers (volunteers 'n' TBD, 3 confirmed). Meeting scheduled to deidentify abstracts and assign to each reviewer-f/u with Dr. Nawathe
● Open scoring and set deadline
● Inform JPC award winner by 9/15-is feasibility based above?
● Provide updates on number of people registered
