Dear North Central SCCM chapter members,
We are writing to inform you of the chapter's difficult and ultimately, existential situation.
The chapter has been in existence since 2017 and despite our efforts, it has struggled to deliver the mission and vision, both pre and post pandemic, to provide a resource rich environment to promote the best care possible to our critically ill patients through education, shared knowledge and professional networking opportunities.
The chapter is looking for multiple individuals (at least 4) to take over all aspects of chapter leadership. The new leadership team would be supported both at the chapter level by the current officers and at a higher organizational level from SCCM chapter alliance administrators. Additionally, there are chapter specific financial resources available for future programming to continue to uphold the mission and vision of the chapter. In the event that replacement leaders cannot be found, the chapter may be dissolved and any unused funds will likely be forfeited to SCCM, although we await definitive confirmation from SCCM. If you're interested in assuming leadership responsibilities of the North Central Chapter of SCCM or have any other general questions about the chapter, please respond to our email addresses below no later than Wednesday April 12, 2023.
