    • Member-at-Large (2 positions)

Member engagement is critical to the success of the Ohio Chapter and we are relying on you for strong candidates for these leadership positions.  Additional information about each position can be found below, and in the Chapter Bylaws. If you have additional questions, feel free to reach out to any member of the current executive board (see the Chapter website for contact information). All terms will start at the business meeting in early 2023.

Nominations must be received by 5:00 pm EST on January 9th, 2023 and should include:

    • The position of interest
    • Full name with credentials and title
    • Contact information (including institution and email address)
    • A letter of commitment that includes a brief bio and a description of what you bring to the chapter leadership team (no longer than 1 page)

    Submit your nomination to SCCMOhio@gmail.com

    • The President-Elect presides at meetings of the Chapter and the Chapter Executive Board in the absence of the Chapter President and performs other duties as assigned by the President or the Executive Board of the Chapter
    • The President-Elect assumes the office of Chapter President in the year following his/her term as President-elect, and then continues responsibilities as chair of the nominations committee as the immediate past-president. Therefore, the total commitment for this position is 3 years.

    • The Secretary has custody of and maintains the records of the Chapter (including meeting minutes, bylaws, etc.), and notifies the members and Executive Board of upcoming meetings
    • The Secretary works with the SCCM liaison to maintain an up-to date membership list, and with the communications committee to provide communications to the chapter membership
    • The Secretary serves a term of two years

    Member-at-Large (2 positions):

    • The Members-at-Large act as advisors to the Executive Board to help guide the goals and initiatives of the Chapter
    • Each Member-at-Large will be a liaison to a standing committee (many have assumed chair or chair-elect positions, but this is not required) and report committee progress to the Executive Board at all Executive Board meetings
    • The Member-at-Large serve a term of three years
