    Hi everyone,

Since we're such a diverse group, I thought we might take some time to introduce ourselves so that our future posts have a bit more context and color. Feel free to share who you are, what you do, what you are currently working on, what brought you to join this KEG, or something about you that your fellow critical care clinicians might find interesting or surprising.

My name is Dominika Skarka, I am a Manager in Organizational Affairs at SCCM and I work with Committee appointments, KEGs and Chapters. In my spare time I like to travel with my son.

Now it's your turn - introduce yourselves!

    Ditto!

Hi all - my name is Jack Green and I'm a pediatric/congenital cardiac intensivist in Los Angeles (Cedars-Sinai). I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY (don't ask if I'm a Yankees or Mets fan...) and slowly made my way out West. I did my residency in Michigan and my ICU fellowship at CHLA and joined the faculty here at Cedars-Sinai in 2018. This KEG has been an absolute labor of love and Markita, Asha, and I are so incredibly excited to get this KEG up and running! Much more to come. Everyone please introduce yourselves! Maybe even tell us what motivated you to join.

Hi  ,    My name is Roger Reichenbach .  I work in Detroit Michigan , as  a Clinical Specialist  RRT in a   Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU  with experience in Research,  Acute Care, Surgical ICU , ECMO,  Transplant and Cardiac assist devices with  some Neonatal experience . A   Rotating Shift Lead Team member, Department  Hospital Supervisor  . I have 39yrs experience, currently my time is divided between direct patient care, clinical  education, quality assurance  and management .   I was motivated to join this group by realizing how  keeping so much of my negative emotional  experiences to myself  can become toxic over time .  Humor   based on anecdotal  experiences  is a  therapeutic personal  & educational  tool  I use in my practice.I still remember  the first time I read the " House of God, "   and the insights it taught me as a new Respiratory Therapist.
