    Hello all,

    Submission are now being accepted for the In-training Research Proposal Award. See the attached document for complete information regarding award details and submission process. The recipient will receive up to $2,000.00 for the award based on the budget submitted for the project. 

    Purpose: To promote clinical or basic science research relevant to critical care by an investigator currently in-training by financial award sponsored by the Society of Critical Care Medicine – Pennsylvania Chapter (PASCCM)The award may be awarded to up to two (2) recipients each calendar year as decided by the Executive Council of PASCCM. 

    Eligibility Criteria:

    1. The Principal Investigator (PI) must be a current member of PASCCM or become a member upon award notification.
    2. The proposed project may be used to meet the requirement(s) of an academic degree.
    3. The PI must be in training in a health care profession applicable to critical care.
    4. The proposed project may be in progress.
    5. The topic of study must have relevance to critical care.
    6. All required application materials must be submitted by the deadlines and in the required format.
    Application Process: 
    All applications must be submitted electronically to Amanda Holyk, PharmD, BCCCP: amanda.holyk@wilkes.edu AND Barbara Birriel, MSN, ACNP-BC: bab44@psu.edu by July 1st 2021 by 11:59 PM EST. 

    Selection Process:
    The applications will be reviewed by the SCCM Pennsylvania Chapter Education Committee and Executive Council. Recipient will be notified by mid July.
