I'm an Intensivist and I founded and run a quarterly case based educational conference along with my MFM colleagues at my institution: Critical Care Obstetrics.

Our Critical Care and MFM fellows jointly present one case to Faculty Moderators. We have been running for just under two years now are CME accredited.

I am interested in connecting with colleagues with similar educational interests and thought this group would be a good place to start.

Sounds like a great practice. I love to have our MFM and Ob colleagues help to teach our yearly FCCS OB course.

I have been the co-director for the Abbott Northwestern OB Critical Care Program since 2015 and we have the only dedicated OB ICU program within the 5 state region in the Midwest in Minnesota. My other co-director is Lisa Kirkland, FCCM. I have also completed the FCCS course in Critical Care Obstetrics and would encourage all to attend this great educational course.
I would be happy to be a part of ongoing conversation regarding critical care obstetrics as well as Cardio Obstetrics. This is a great forum to bring all of us together on an ongoing basis.

Greetings to all. I hope you are well. I am Dr. Carlos Montufar, Head of the Obstetric Intensive Care Unit in Panama, and Director of the sub-specialty Program in Critical Care Obstetrics. I think the proposal to discuss clinical cases and important issues is a very good initiative. Unfortunately I do not have a very fluent English to participate or intervene in the talks and discussions. I encourage you to carry out this joint effort
    Thank you

    Hi Tisha,
That is great!  We have created a standardized two day course in which we are currently updating called Fundamentals of Critical Care Support: Obstetrics. It incorporates obstetric critical care principles, is CME certified, and is a fun course to take. I am starting a San Diego Chapter soon.
Let me know if you wanted to connect on anything. My email is sharvey@health.ucsd.edu
